Freelance Event Lead (Profit-Share)
BeWell is building thoughtfully curated wellness experiences that bring our hyper-local community together — from intimate 20-person gatherings to larger-scale events that feel cultural and memorable.
We’re looking for a creative, commercially sharp Event Lead on a freelance/contract basis to help build and execute this vision.
This is a profit-share role, designed for someone entrepreneurial who wants ownership, creative freedom, and performance-based upside.
What This Role Really Is
This isn’t just event planning.
It’s co-building a growing events arm for BeWell.
You would:
Collaborate on original event concepts and recurring series
Think beyond the obvious — bringing fresh, out-of-the-box ideas
Turn creative vision into structured plans and profitable budgets
Secure venues and negotiate strong terms
Build vendor relationships and value-based partnerships
Negotiate sponsorships and strategic trades (exposure, content, community access)
Identify ways to reduce costs and increase revenue
Lead execution and own event-day operations
Debrief, refine, and scale what works
We want someone who can think creatively and tactically — someone who understands both experience design and leverage.

Larger-scale wellness experiences with strong brand and sponsor presence
We’re looking for someone who can help think in both lanes.

This is freelance/contract work, not a salaried position — you’ll have independence and flexibility, with profit-share tied directly to event success.
Compensation
Compensation is structured as profit-share per event, aligning incentives and rewarding strong execution, smart negotiation, and growth.
